It's November, in Oregon, and it's beautifully sunny and almost warm out. Shocking! It's days like today that make it so easy to really grasp that 'live every day like it could be your last' mentality, because if nothing else, it could easily be the last sunny and dry day we get here for months. So what the hell am I doing sitting in front of the computer? Taking a break from yard work! Having some lunch and tea! I've been outside all day, planting more bulbs, cutting grass, raking leaves. I needed a break. My next big project is to tear down a bunch of clean cardboard boxes, lay them out over the vegetable garden, and smother them in the afore mentioned leaves and cut grass and compost. It's planning for that spring garden, well in advance! Seriously, love this weather! Sunny days in fall are the best, makes me feel so productive!
